Steve Rosenthal

Chief Executive Officer & President

Steve is one of the most widely recognized leaders in the employee benefits and human resource industry. In 2008 Steve’s vision and leadership launched his 3rd successful Human Resource Outsourcing Company; Triton Benefits & HR Solutions. Triton has become an instant success overnight with its unique approach to Employee Benefits and HR Outsourcing. In 2007 he was named Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) Superstar for the third consecutive year by HRO Today. Before becoming CEO of Triton Benefits and HR Solutions, Rosenthal was the CEO and pioneer of CheckPoint HR, which was built on the concept of empowering an HR Department with self-service tools. Triton Benefits & HR Solutions is built on the same premise but uses the latest technologies, which enables Human Resource Departments to run more efficiently with a total end-to-end human resource solution.

Rosenthal previously served as Chairman of EPIX of what became under his leadership, one of the largest human resources outsourcing companies in the country. In 2000 Fortune Magazine ranked EPIX one of the largest private Fortune 100 companies in the United States. Steve began his career at Automatic Data Processing as an intern and later became a District Manager. Steve graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management.

Susan Carrero

President of Triton’s PEO Division, Director of Human Resource and Workers Compensation

Susan is the President and founder of 7 Star HR Triton’s PEO division. She founded 7 Star in 2013, and joined forces with Triton Benefits & HR Solutions in 2014. Since joining Triton, Susan leads our Human Resource and Property Casualty departments for both Triton and 7 Star clients.

Susan spent 2 decades in hospitality management as a General Manager, Training & Human Resource Director, Regional Operations Director and eventually Vice President of National accounts. In 2013, Susan launched her PEO company and founded 7 Star Hospitality Resource LLC, a PEO and 7 Star Payroll LLC an ASO service company. 7 Star HR is the leading PEO for the hospitality and service industry. Susan joined Steve Rosenthal and Triton Benefits & HR Solutions to combine their resources and grow both organizations. Together, Susan and Steve developed the most comprehensive and competitive National insurance programs for their clients.

Marv Tauber

Director of Operations

Marv has been an active leader in the Payroll Industry for over 25 years. He has developed payroll/ billing systems and operations for many large organizations. Marv developed the Payroll System and Managed Operations for EPIX, a PEO located in Woodbridge, NJ. Marv was responsible for over 60,000 worksite employees being paid, which consisted of producing over 30,000 weekly checks for more than 4000 clients. Marv is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics.

Jeff Kirk

Director of Benefits

As Director of Benefits, Jeff oversees the internal Triton Benefits & HR Solutions’ benefits team that navigates our clients through the intricacies of the changing healthcare landscape. For the past 20 years, Jeff has been an advocate for employers helping them achieve their strategic benefits goals and objectives. His diverse industry experience ranges from account management, business development, personnel training, sales production, client retention, sales supervision and insurance agency management. This broad array of experience aids him in delivering and managing cost-effective benefit solutions for Triton clients. Jeff graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.

Anthony Farinella

Senior Vice President

With nearly 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, Anthony Farinella blends deep brokerage knowledge with advanced benefits technology to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions. His expertise spans fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded strategies, and he is known for his ability to develop forward-thinking plans by analyzing industry trends, client demographics, and historical data.

Before joining Triton Benefits in 2015, Anthony held roles at several leading benefits technology providers and later at HUB International. Since joining Triton Benefits in 2015, Anthony has played a key role in elevating the firm’s capabilities. He has led the training and development of internal teams, driving operational excellence and helping clients navigate the evolving benefits landscape through technology-driven solutions. Prior to Triton, Anthony held leadership roles at several top benefits technology firms and at HUB International. His ongoing commitment to innovation, education, and client success continues to shape Triton’s strategic direction and long-term growth.

Jaclyn Mercurio

Director of Client Services & System Automation

As the Director of Client Services & System Automation, Jaclyn Mercurio has overseen the growth and day-to-day success of our clients through her strategic leadership and deep industry knowledge. Leveraging innovative technology, she has significantly enhanced our infrastructure by streamlining operations and automating key processes within the brokerage. With nearly a decade of experience in the benefits field, Jaclyn is a highly valued team member whose commitment and loyalty have made a lasting impact on both our internal operations and client relationships. Her dedication to excellence continues to drive efficiency, elevate service standards, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s long-term success.

Helen Battagliotti

Controller

Originally from the Philippines, Helen brings a strong academic foundation with bachelor’s degrees in Management and Law. After relocating to the United States, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Berkeley College. Helen joined Triton in 2015 and has since played an integral role in the company’s growth, earning her place on the leadership team through dedication and performance. As Controller, she manages a broad spectrum of financial responsibilities, including commission structures, and accounting oversight across PEO, ASO, and HR service lines, ensuring strategic alignment and financial integrity throughout the organization.
